"I'm going to build a radio with static from the stars, and broadcast on a frequency you'll pick up in your cars" are the first lyrics that you're exposed to in this release from one of Australia's finest bands. Having followed this band for many years I am surprised that they haven't made it 'big'. This is probably a good thing...the best bands normally bash out the best albums when the mass media spotlight is focused on less talented artists. The above quote is lifted from the first track entitled 'Static', a soft that drifts you towards the very stars that are being sung about. Track 3, 'Dart' was the most rotated release from the album, especially with Australia's Yooof Network (Triple J) picking it up and flogging it senseless. The 11 other songs on the album didn't get much of a showing publicly and that does not matter one iota. The strength lies in it's totality. 'Kittenlicks' is a comprehensive overview of Screamfeeder's past and future escapades. If this site gave out stars...this album would have six out of the five possible.
